If you are a psychic web site owner then you will have undoubtedly have asked yourself the same question that all site owners face which is, how do I get people to my website?

Well the answer to the question is SEO (search engine optimisation), S.E.O as it is known is the single most important step in running a successful website. You can have the best website in the world but without SEO no one will ever know your site exists.

SEO is a complicated business but the single most important factor to a good SEO campaign is link building, that is getting links to your web site from other web sites from the internet. Link building is probably the hardest part of the SEO mission, you need to get good quality links coming into your site from other web sites which operate in the same niche as your site does.

In your case you will want to get links from other psychic and spiritual related sites, directories are a good place to start so submit your site to as many related directories as possible.

You should also think about offering good quality content on your website to people will want to link to your website organically. Lets say you have a free section of your site and someone who runs a psychic blog visits you, they will probably want to tell their visitors about your amazing site so will provide a link to it.

The search engines pick up on this and they calculate that if your site has a lot of links coming in then you must have good content to offer and when someone searches for one of the keywords you target they will put your site higher in the search results.

This means that every link you get back to your site will serve two purposes, one, people will see the link and click it to visit your site, two, the search engines will place your sight slightly higher in the search results giving you more visitors.
