How Texting a Psychic Works

Texting a psychic works by sendng your question(s) to a psychic medium from your mobile phone, this is done by sending a text message (SMS Message) usually to a shortcode (this is in place of a regular number), a shortcode is usually an easy memorable number 5 digits long rather than trying to remember a full mobile phone number which are usually 11 digits long.

Most shortcodes (short phone numbers) are usually shared between providers to the first word of your text message is usually a keyword which identifies which service you are trying to access.

In the example you send a text message which is made up of the following:

KEYWORD + YOUR NAME + YOUR DATE-OF-BIRTH + YOUR QUESTION

The example gives the following as an example of how the text message should look:

GUIDE Anna Smith 24/7/1979 Will I find love?

In the case of the example the message is then sent to the shortcode (number): 66569

You then get a reply from the psychic or medium who answers the message, you are charged at your standard network rate to send a text message which is usually around 0.10p on most networks or if you have free text messages within your call package then there is no charge. When you get a reply by text message from the psychic you phone is charged £1.50 for each reply you get back. You can usually recieve a maximum of two (2) replies per question asked.
