Astrology is an ancient art or science that can still be used to help us today. There are billions of people on our planet and to say that all Geminis will be having a tough week is too simplistic and dishonourable. There are twelve sun signs or star signs. Aries, ruled by the planet Mars, is about action, energy and impulse. Taurus, ruled by the planet Venus, is about practicality, nature and stubbornness. Gemini, ruled by the planet Mercury, is about communication, adaptability and two dimensions. Cancer, ruled by the satellite the Moon, is about maternity, gentleness and moodiness. Leo, ruled by the centred warming Sun, is about ambition, domination and pride. Virgo, ruled by the planet Mercury, is about precision, anxiety and criticism. Libra, ruled by the planet Venus, is about balance, justice and peace. Scorpio, ruled by the planets Mars and Pluto, is about passion, rehabilitation and instinct. Sagittarius, ruled by the planet Jupiter, is about adventure, happiness and exploration. Capricorn, ruled by the planet Saturn, is about hard work, seriousness and maturity. Aquarius, ruled by the planets Saturn and Uranus, is about brotherhood, independence and new ideas. Pisces, ruled by the planets Jupiter and Neptune, is about emotions, spirituality and sensitivity. This quick break down of the twelve signs is to gain a familiarity, as each sign and planet has far deeper connotations. As there are not only twelve types of people on our world and we are all individuals there is a birth chart. A birth chart is devised from one’s time, place (location) and date of birth. A birth chart is highly reflective of ones character and its revelations are subject to the skill of the astrologer. We are all individuals yet we share various qualities with others. Two Sagittarians can be very different yet still share some familiar characteristics. To give a broader insight we can use the date only of one’s birth to understand ourselves. Astrology is a useful tool to assist in relationships because all relationships rest on the process of understanding each other. If we can understand that a partner or family member is particularly sensitive then we may be more accommodating and tolerant towards that relationship as we understand why he or she acts in such a manner. It also aids in communication. Communication is the key for relationships. An Aquarius and Scorpio are unlikely to make a long lasting marriage but if one has a Moon in the others sun sign then there may be better affinity. There are many factors to take into account when matching up people or explain our dislikes towards others. Astrology can be a fun interesting way to explore our problems in relationships, health, work and personal development/growth. I notice that there are many free horoscope readings on the internet and with computer software it is possible. However there usually is the follow up emails enticing one to pay for more in depth readings. I do manually drawn up charts and do all personal analysis. The neglect of intuition and attention to a whole chart while relying on computer software saves time and can be done cheaply yet the results may not be the best. You are welcome to send me any question and I can draw up a horary chart. The application of time and attention is what makes an insightful astrologer in predictive readings. I send my readings via email so that there is a record, one can go over the writing and check the outcome. Telephonic consultations are also available to go with the emails.
